Category Manager | Strategic Procurement (Automotive)

We are looking for a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities within a global automotive environment. The role is responsible for category strategy, supplier performance, cost optimization, and supply risk management across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategies aligned with global procurement goals
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and agreements
• Drive sourcing activities and cost optimization initiatives
• Identify and develop new suppliers to strengthen the supply base
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, innovation)
• Manage supply and supplier risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain)
• Support innovation and sustainability initiatives

POŽADUJEME

Requirements

• 4–7 years in Procurement / Category Management
• Automotive or industrial background
• Strong supplier management and sourcing experience
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Fluent English (German or Spanish is a plus)
