Cloud Java Developer - Food Industry - Greenfield - Hybrid

These are not maintenance projects but mostly Greenfield projects - some of them Open-Source -where you will work on new and existing software applications that we want to move forward.

This includes apps that enable restaurant staff to efficiently service customers at their tables with seamless cloud connectivity, enhancing ordering precision and speed of service. These applications are also used by food delivery services suchasUber Eats and similar platforms. We are also working on theCatalogue appwhich helps Chefs and Managers to create desired menus and other things.

• In your role, you will design, modify, implement, and document enhancements to software applications, including automated functional and non-functional testing
• Participate in an enterprise open-source community
• You will work in an Agile environment (14-day Sprints) in a senior team
• You will work in a Cloud Environment (GCP) and Microservices Architecture
• Provide mentorship to new SW engineers and members of our team
• The position involves daily interaction with the team in Prague but also in the US and Asia

Our Stack:Java (17+), SpringBoot, Typescript, Angular, GCP, Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Helm, Flux, REST API

POŽADUJEME

• 3+ years of experience in Development
• Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented design principles
• Any experience with any Cloud - GCP preferred
• Experience with designing, implementing, and testing RESTful APIs
• Strong written and spoken English

Advantage will be:

• Experience with Typescript/Node.js
• Experience with any additional programming languages (C#, C++, Scala, Go, Clojure, etc.)
• Familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Vert.x
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Terraform, Helm, Flux
